Kevin Kline Inspired To Run The Modesto Marathon
For those who were in Dry Creek Park during the teen’s 20 mile run, you may have seen an unfamiliar face running with the kids. That runner was Kevin Kline, Houston radio personality and star of the documentary, Dear Chelsey.
Kevin was in Modesto as a special guest of the Modesto Marathon. His documentary was featured at the annual movie night.
After hearing about the TeensRunModesto program, Kevin decided to come out and run the 20 mile training run with us.
We must have made a good impression because Kevin and his wife, Trish, will be coming back out for the marathon.
Kevin will be running in honor of Andrew Santana. Andrew is the son of area runner Jesse Santana. He passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 15.
We are looking forward to having the Kline’s at our event.
