Established in 2015, The TRM Leadership Program is a development program offered exclusively to juniors and seniors participating in the Teens Run Modesto Program. The program helps prepare students for life after high school by developing skills including professionalism, leadership, and communication. Students that participate in the TRM Leadership Program will receive professional mentorship, invaluable skills, an opportunity to discover leadership, build confidence, and
special consideration for a TRM Scholarship.
We are not taking registration for the 2023 Leadership program this year. We hope to be back with the leadership program in 2024.

Program Design
The TRM Leadership Program is a 5-week program where students receive content in a classroom setting, participate in interactive discussion topics and engage in independent and group learning exercises. Content is developed and delivered by multiple passionate professionals in the community. Key features of the TRM Leadership Program include:
- A Leadership Panel: Multiple community leaders participate in a panel discussion to share their thoughts on leadership and their own personal experiences with our students. Students leave this session feeling inspired.
- Mock Interviews: Students participate in several rounds of mock interviews and receive feedback from interviewers on how to improve their interview skills. Students walk away with confidence and valuable feedback to consider for future interviews.
- Final Presentations: Students prepare a formal presentation and present to an open audience. Students have the opportunity to practice their final presentations among peers and incorporate in feedback.
